We aim to increase the quality and availability of services to OVC country-wide.
Together with international organisations, government and local charities, we are helping Malawian OVC embark on a journey of healing and transformation that will change not only the course of their lives, but that of our nation.
Malawi is is a landlocked country in southeast Africa that was formerly known as Nyasaland. It is bordered by Zambia, Tanzania and Mozambique.
Many Malawians survive on subsistence farming. They grow just enough maize and beans to feed their family.
The primary purpose of NOVOC, is to encourage, promote and enhance networking amongst its members.
Under this primary purpose NOVOC has identified five focus areas or core roles it will take on that will contribute to more and better responses to issues and challenges met by OVC.
We are a non-government, umbrella organization based in Lilongwe. Our main roles are to: network Orphaned and Vulnerable Children service providers, building their capacity, thus improving the quality of services to OVC and lobby Government to better deal with OVC issues.
